Subject: Re: [Sunbeam Talbot Email List] wheel balancing
I looked at the "How does it work" and it seems torequire tubeless tyres, I think unless you do what we used to do forSporting Trials in the 50's/60's and re-vulcanise a new tractor valvein place of the old one so that we could get the air out quickly andrun flat 2 psi, bolted to the rim tyres. If the beads are small enough, they would pass through this valve.
On the other hand, could I run my Michelin X as tubeless ..... I'm notsure but I think not.
Another thought .... could we use modern alloy stick-on weights tobalance the rim only in the well of the rim before fitting the tyre.

Since most of the OEM wheels are subject to Rootes rather "liberal"run-out tolerances, I thought this product might be interesting from apractical point of view as well as getting rid of what looks likepounds of lead weights on the wheels.
