Hi,

I have two queries:

1. I need to replace the sppedometer in my Mark One Alpine. Having read the workshop manual it tells me to remove the oil prsssure pipe along with the four wingnuts. This I duly did but dont know what the next step is. I know there are four very small screws holding in the speedometer to the housing, I can get at the two on the bottow but how do I manage the other two and how do i remove the speedometer. 

2. I have the car up on a lift and want to check and top up if necessary the two Lever Arm Shovk Absorbers located at the rear axel. Do I just unscrew the nut on each one and top them up or do I have to remove the shock absorbers from the body of the car and then check them
