[Sunbeam Talbot Email List] Timing

Hi Bob seems there are a few different base plates with these ignition kits,the one on this last Alpine the pick up offset to the left of the wire outlet,wereas your picture shows it about central,and my Alpine,the pick up is 90 degrees to the right of the wire outlet,which is ok,but I cant remember if the timing marks lined up, my Alpine is fitted with the MK3 engine meaning the timing marks are on the front pully,since then my car has been on the Dyno,so they would have reset the timing,next time it is out I will put the timing light back on it to see where it sits, regards Mal Clark.
