One of the tasks I'll have to do is construct a proper floor pan cover for the transmission and gearbox. The top of the original one was mercilessly hacked off and a crude alloy top was attached. All of the gaps were sealed off with a strange rubber adhesive sheet, making up for the lack of workmanship.

So, since I have never seen a proper conversion panel, perhaps list denizens can provide a picture or two, or minimally, a description of the construction.
