Rod,

My seat brackets already point  toward the back    rear  O____  front , so I don't think a swap will gain much. But I will look into fabricating an extention.
Post my findings later.

I can testify that reversing the seat  floor pivot brackets works well. I found that the best way is to swap over the passengers for the drivers. This ensures that the brackets/seat remain in alignment otherwise the seat (if it works at all) is off centre. Oh and Wes I think it unlikely that you will damage much on one of these tough old birds!
