I am considering making my own carpet refurb. I've found some very high quality carpet in what is probably the correct fawn color. (Brochure shows dark brown..??? ) 

Wondering if any pictures exist of original carpet for saloon or other cars that would indicate the shape and binding material.

Pictures of replacement carpet, saloon especially, would be very welcome.

I have a pretty good idea on the general layout regarding how many pieces, where they go, and so forth, but the little details like correct binding and color are elusive.
The period brochure, as we all know, takes liberties with many features.

Did the brake and clutch pedals really come with leather gaiters?
