I got the information about the pertronix unit for our distributors from previous posts. This seems a good approach based on my experience with other cars and pertronix. Depending on the dog and lower end configuration, a complete electronic version might be available. I will investigate once I have the dizzy in hand. This is a Lucas 25 series or a 45 series?

What other tips might be available for good, reliable ignition on these cars?

The air breather arrangement seems like it might be a bit constrained. Has anyone measured airflow to the carb?
Is there a better filter arrangement that allows for better breathing. I am guessing its a paper filter in the canister mounted on the rocker cover. (not having the car in hand just yet)
Is there a K&N replacement? Is there any modification that improves performance?


Anyone ever put A/C in one of these cars? Be kind, I'm just asking. It's Texas and summer here.
