I think that once they have confirmed its demise  8^( announcing the VIN
would not be a bad thing  as it would put to rest the  false claims of
*THE* Grace Kelly car.  Without having conclusive evidence of either the
existance or demise would lead to the fakes so I understand their
reluctance as this would increase the value of the car if it was shown to
be *the* car
