In order not to bore too many people, will an Alpine owner who has the 
glove box properly mounted with the push button/locking closure please 
write to me off-line as I want to figure out how to adapt the saloon 
glove box with its push clip closure to the Alpine model.

Bob kindly sent me a V.G.C. glove box but my old ruined one is also a 
saloon model, I think, and I need to work out how to fit the box and 
still have the tongue for the closure sticking down (through the metal rim?)
