Hi Henry, there are two pumps for the Sunbeam 2267cc engine,a more common 4 or 5" round pump fits into a aluminium back housing (MK1Alpine 2 and 2a Talbot) or a later one piece pump includes a large cast iron body which also incorporates the bottom hose outlet,(Mk3 Alpine and Mk3 Talbot) I cant see how you could fit an non original pump.to any of them,Jim is well up with his knowledge, particularly Rootes group stuff,if you can identify which pump you have,I may be able to help, only yesterday I took two of the early pumps to be overhauled,I said I only wanted one to be reconditioned, but they are expensive,I am thinking around $150 to reco each, Where abouts are you Henry? guess you are in Aus
Regards Mal Clark.

Subject: [Staowners] Water pump for 2267 OHV motor
People
Anyone got a water pump for a 2267 OHV motor?
The one on my my motor is "non-standard" ie the bearing and seal
supplied by JW Classic Car Parts doesn't fit (too small). Jim
reckons that this is the only one for the 2267 motor. Suspects that
maybe the pump is not original. He could be right.
So does anyone have a water pump for sale (or any bright ideas ?)
