[Staowners] Possible new owner

Welcome Wes - you will find a wealth of knowledge within this group. I 
am just an amateur (as in Italian ... 'lover') of ST. My Alpine shares a 
garage with a Moke (not the he-haw variety) and an XK120 OTS.

I've just had a session with the petrol gauge - the advantage of the ST 
is that many mechanical parts are common through the whole range of 
their models and you will be able to get the twined petrol/water temp. 
gauge without too much problem from a car being parted. There is a guy 
in California ( Mike     _Infinity88  at  aol.com_ ) who has 6 or more 
ST of that era from which he sources parts.  Browse around Bob
