Dear Australian members,
There is a company in Thornleigh (Sydney), who will remanufacture
mountings from
your old samples. The first one is expensive since they have to produce a
mould, but they will label and store it for use of your club. obviously a
production run is the most economical. It is a cople of years since I
inquired, at that time to do the small engine steady for the MKIII saloon
was approx AUD 160 for the first and AUD 90ish for subsequent ones. The
compound used is good quality and long lasting they say, it is alas, purple.
Company name Noltec engineering (www.noltecsuspension.com) ph (02)
9980 9799 email sales at noltecsuspension.com.
If no other parts turn up this may be worth fresh inquiries. The
National rally could be a chance to test interest. Regrettably my charity
work has got the better of me and the sunbeam is as was at last outing, and
still on light duties.
Good luck,
Martin Clarke
