Hi Bob ... yes this is an interesting vehicle. the carb and intake manifold dose indeed appear to be a?"special" (although without the proper air-cleaner)
I would like to see the serial / engine?number as that would show weather it is indeed a special or not.
the coil is not mounted?in the right spot for a special and I can't tell from the photo's if it has a tach, or the drive for one, or an overdrive,?also the head should be painted red, all of those things could easily have been changed over the years, just like the floor shift conversion and the incorrect stitching on the seats
