[Staowners] Mk1 Alpine Filter

Hi STAO Listers.
Before I change the oil and air filters on my 53 Mk1 Alpine I'd like to know
what other owners are using on their cars.  I understand that the filters
could be found in various auto parts stores, but having the brand and part #
would be helpful to my search.  Also, I've read about certain filters
needing grommets or spacers. When are these needed?
