Can anyone tell me where the chassis number can be found on a Mk 1 
Alpine - other than on the I.D. plate riveted to the bulkhead?

I have found a LHD Mk 1 Alpine in Holland which is for sale. The body 
and interior have been completely redone, apparently to a high standard, 
but the mechanical side had yet to be done. It is complete and comes 
with a UK 1953 S-T 90 saloon (which was in working order) as a donor car 
for parts.

More after Easter as I will be in Holland and will go and inspect what 
he has.
