Hi Ramon, you will not find any colour codes at all on your Sunbeam Alpine,in their wisdom years ago.you just ordered the colour of your car, white was Ivory ,blue was Saphire Blue, silvery blue was Alpine Mist, Red was Coronation red, etc, think there was a green and black, but vey few colours to choose from, so that didnt appear to be a problem then,I think in the parts list,it gives you the part number for those colours, thats what you ordered,of course the problem arises now where the original colour has long gone,a good source I found was under the top lining on the glove box lid,if you remove the lining, the original colour should be there, good luck, Mal Clark.

Subject: [Staowners] Silly question?
All this anticipation about the forthcoming starting handle flap has me thinking funny thoughts . . . To wit: How do you determine the original color code for our cars?
Mine, a '54 Alpine, does not seem to have anything but the ID number stamped on the VIN plate. Is the color code attached somewhere else?
Ramon
