Hello Joy and Paul,
There has been much talk of late re different radial tyres - I had Michelin tyres on my MK.1 Alpine when I bought it and found it very heavy to steer and the tyres only cleared the rear guard by 3mm. - I subsequently fitted 175/85 x 16 Falkens and am very satisfied with the result although I have had a lot of work done on the wheel alignment ' it is still heavy to steer on roundabouts.
You will find the radials wont fit in the spare compartment.
