[Staowners] Number plate lamp

I'll go along with Mal as concerns the Mk 1 Alpine. I still have the
white glass rear light lens with the red dome over the stop/tail bulb.
The reverse light bulb socket now has orange 21W bulbs for indicator
lights.
My central lens is probably the original and shows Sunbeam with no
reverse light sections/bulb holder. The maroon had faded and the whole
plastic lens was white so I 'borrowed' an appropriate colour of nail
varnish from Management and repainted inside, leaving the Sunbeam
letters unpainted - it looks great.
Had a great 100 km run yesterday in the sunshine of the Charente -
keeping to country lanes, we saw very few other cars. The cleaned tank
performed 'comme il faut'.
