Hi Martin,Thanks again,for reply,and yes we did talk,about the Monte trip,I beilive there may be another Alps trip in 09,I we definately work towards that one,you would have recieved through the site a reply from Erie Taube.he did explain,that some power steer cars react in a different way,also old heavy cars had a negitive castor,the castor is adjustable with the top wishbone shims,we put another Talbot Alpine on the alignment machine to check its figures at that was no where near 3 degrees,but did have a small amount of positive castor,that car has been driving and steering well for 25,000 miles with no uneven tyre wear,anyway we have set up my car now with 1degree neg castor,and appears to handle ok,will know more when it is on the road properly,its off the the trimmer on Wednesday, Thanks again,Mal Clark.
