I have just been on the Internet and come across a white '53 Alpine.  It looks very nice from the one photo shown. The only non original items shown in the photo are a bonnet mascot of a swan or some other bird and the grill has been replaced with what appears to be a Mercedes Benz insert of perforated metal.  Doesn't look to bad.  It has black wheels and appears to have a gray top that is folded down. Or the tenaue cover is over it.? If anyone is interested you can contact Rayda Sinni at The Car Experience;  His email is rayda at thecarexperience.com  I believe the car is in Texas and the lot # is 320.
