Hi everyone, Question, Why does the Alpine have a different  exhaust system configuration and position/ I know the Alpine was fitted with a Burgess Muffler/silencer.more of a straight through design, by why did they re-route it to the outside of the chassis,wereas there is alot more room for any muffler inboard of the chassis and a large exit hole designed for the rear pipe to continue out the back, as of the Sedan, the Alpine system looks like Spaggetti junction,  my conclusion it may appear more sporty if it could be seen,from the side,  any ideas, Mal Clark.
