Hi Mal,
Thanks again for your kind comments re; the calendar. Very timely as it turned out because they reminded me to retrieve a CD of pics out of the glove box of Rosalie's car - one of which will be in next years calendar. At this stage I'll just say it's a Super Snipe that has become a movie star, watch out for a movie this year about Harold Holt's disappearance.
Bob's photo picked itself for the cover, Obviously it's a great shot but also it was wide format and ideal for the space I needed for title. At one stage I was thinking of using Kevin's on the cover but I would have either had to shrink the picture, crop the top or put the title over the photo. None of these options would have worked well, particularly as Kevins photo is itself a great shot.
Anyway, this year I made some editors notes on the pics in the calendar, where they came from etc. If anyone would like a copy just let me know
Cheers, Vic

Hi Bob and all, just then had a look at the Calender produced, from the Rootes vehicles featuring Bobs superb Alpine, Coupe and Sedan on the front cover, must say Bob your vehicles deserve the place on the front, they are extremely nice, and a great back drop, you must have had shares with Lucas for your wing mirrors, ha !!,,I am very pleased with the whole Calender, see you have the Sunbeam Talbot Owners club Badge, and the STAR badge on the front of the Alpine, what is the one in the middle?
I recently purchased my second STOC green badge off of ebay,( these fetch a big price) but was very disapointed with its condition,no chrome left, after I calmed down,I remembered if the enamel is in sound condition, the badge can be rechromed without affecting the enamel, which I have had done with pleasing resullt,so am happy with it now,as I said these badges are sort after, and demand a high price, one went for 77 GB Pounds on ebay, anyway better get back to the Alpine, have to complete it by March, for a tour we have booked in for 'Fly the Flag" back soon, Mal Clark.
