[Staowners] mal clarks restoration

Hi again, you should have recieved some more photo's of my Alpine nearing 
the completion of its restoration,if you look carefully,you will notice a 
few "Extras"  the dashboard glove box has been converted to hide the air 
conditioning outlet ducts, the car has power steering,because of that I lost 
the steering column wiring up Stator Tube,so a fabricated self cancelling 
indicator arm, incorprated a horn button as well,  also because of no wiring 
I was able to shorten the steering column 40mm,giving a better distance from 
driver to wheel,this along with the back of the seat reduced to 2" makes for 
a all round more relax position for a big bloke like me, also notice Disc 
brakes and power booster,and the air conditioning compressor, power steering 
pump, and Alternator, from a motor bike 40 amps,  the motor has been worked, 
head ported, and polished (slightly) manifold locating rings removed and 
dowels fitted in place of the rings, to open up the inlet ports, 20 thou 
oversize bore, 80 thou off the head some machined off the block, a first cam 
grind, larger carb 40mm Crank grind mains and big ends, all fully balanced, 
informed it is 8.2:1 compression ratio. I have tried to reproduce the 
"works"  engine as described in the back of the workshop manual, have also 
fitted a Toyota Celica 5 speed gearbox, (we have a few Sedans and Alpines 
running this box ) and is a dream to use, ok thats it for now,back soon,Mal
