[Staowners] FUEL STARVATION

Hi everyone,trust you all survived the New Year celebrations? we had a very nice evening at The Grand Ballroom, a Fund raising event for Cervical Cancer,in Sri Lanka,we have a very nice Sri Lankian couple in our Sunbeam Car Club,at it was a fantastic night,with the charming Sri Lankian people, but they can keep the Green Chilly I mistook for a green bean?????
 Had a thought today while fitting up my Fuel System on my Alpine,recent discussion on Fuel Starvation,we have mentioned this before,but make absolute sure the small breather hole in the fuel filler pipe is open to breath,it is a very small hole that allows the tank to breath,it is located slightly below the fuel filler neck rubber,in to the Trunk/Boot,if for some reason the filler pipe has been moved upwards the hole will be blocked, the fuel filler chrome cap should almost rest on top of the original neck rubber when done up ,this position allow the breather hole to be uncovered,
