[Staowners] Floor shifters

Ernie .... I checked my gear change mechanism and the Patt. Appl. for 
No. 23570 - 56 appears on the lever casting. My car came from Arizona 
and the Kneer instructions were with other papers when I bought the car. 
I jacked the car up to see if I could see  the neutral selector rod but 
it does not appear to be on the side where the cable links onto the 
g/box (speedo take-off side - LH looking from behind) so perhaps it's on 
the other side. My gear knob does not have the button that appears in 
the drawing - perhaps this was some sort of a 'lock-out' to prevent 
reverse being engaged accidentally but without the button, I have no 
problems.

Tomorrow, I will put the jack on the other side and crawl under - also 
see if I can get at anything from the top.
