Hi again,Ernie thanks for reply,I wouldn't mind betting all those extra washers, were put over each one of the 5 studs securing the wing,because as I said the studs are so long, you need a box/tube spanner to do them up, with the extra washers it is possible to use a normal socket. We are experiancing some warm weather already here 36 C yesterday and today, with some very welcome rain,on the way tonight, hopefully good luck Mal Clark.

Thanks for the advice; That clears up a lot for me. I had thought the large washers were meant as spacers. I had not realized that the hinge mounts could be used for adjustments. It is possible the wings were off before and someone space them with extra washers. There are way more than 10 of them and that threw me when they started falling out. I will follow your lead on this when I am ready to do that part of the assembly and I'll see how it goes.
