Hi Don,I do have a gearbox MK2a but I am not sure if it is the same as your MK1 Drop head,the Drop head I have has been off the road for 35 years condition is unknown,and I am not sure what this car went in storage for all those years ago,but if you are not in a great hurry,I will endeavour to check it out when I can,regards Mal Clark.   Hello Mal,

    I just retired and now I THINK I have time to spruce up my MK1 DHC. I need transmission gears (first, reverse) or a complete gearbox. Any chance you have bits?
