[Staowners] ALPINE FOR SALE

Look at I.D. no.   160166614303    in e-Bay where there is a Mk 1 UK 
Alpine for sale in the next 9 days. The idea of painting the side air 
intakes the body colour hadn't occurred to me - it might look better 
than rough chrome but I suppose one should make the effort and cut up an 
old stainless steel roll-top bread container to make covers for those 
peeling grills a la Rod Allen!!!

Incidentally, does anyone have a source of the chrome wheel trims found 
on the Alpines wheels?
