[Staowners] Alpine Trim Rings

Steve, to the best of my knowledge the trim rings (rim embellishers) were fitted to all vehicles.  They were retained by four spring clips which would leave no evidence of being there on the rim.  The clips are like hens teeth.    Pete

Hi everyone ... I have been having a discussion with Bob H. about wheel trim rings on Alpines
according to the parts manual all Alpines came with them.
My question is, Did the Specials come with them?
There is no mention of them being deleted in the manual
However I saw no evidence of them when I stripped the wheels.
perhaps someone out there might know the answer?
