Thanks Steve...
I will study the manual then decide whether or not to make the repair
myself.  If I decide to go ahead with the job, I will do it over the winter
so that I won't feel pressure to get it done for the next show.  If I decide
to have my British Car shop handle the repair, I'll get the most likely
parts needed for the rebuild before I make the appointment.  Thanks for your
advice.
