When I am faced with the problem of obsolete cam bearings, I take the
measurements of the bearings and go to the bearing book at your local engine parts
supplier and just look them up according to their dimensions. (the dimensions
are in the shop manual)
if that's unsuccessful then an outfit like EGGE machine that specializes in
antique engine parts can usually come up with something close _www.egge.com_
(http://www.egge.com) if you can match the outside diameter you can
usually machine the ID to the right size once it's installed, If that fails you can
get a machine shop to make them from bearing brass, I recently had to use
this method to come up with the bearings for a Triumph 1800.
