[Staowners] {Spam?} Talbot bearings

When I am faced with the problem of obsolete cam bearings, I take the  
measurements of the bearings and go to the bearing book at your local engine  parts 
supplier and just look them up according to their dimensions. (the  dimensions 
are in the shop manual)
 if that's unsuccessful then an outfit like EGGE machine that  specializes in 
antique engine parts can usually come up with something close _www.egge.com_ 
(http://www.egge.com)    if you can match the  outside diameter you can 
usually machine the ID to the right size once it's  installed, If that fails you can 
get a machine shop to make them from bearing  brass, I recently had to use 
this method to come up with the bearings for a  Triumph 1800.
