[Staowners] My Alpine at British Car Days on Prince Edward Island

Hi,

This past Saturday was the annual 
<http://www.britishcardays.com/>British Car Days Across the Bridge on 
Prince Edward Island with about close to 200 impressive cars in 
attendance from across eastern US (even OHIO) and Canada, with 
spectacular weather. I met many people during the day but never heard 
"I used to own one of these cars" but these Alpines sure attract 
attention, even when spectacular Austin Healeys and Morgans are in 
attendance. The 
<http://hamesmarshall.blogspot.com/>Morgan<http://hamesmarshall.blogspot.com/> 
Pub Crawl were there after their cross country trek from as far away 
as California, State of Washington, and Surrey, British Columbia on 
the west coast of Canada about 4000 miles (6500 km) and next week 
they begin their trip home! What a courageous bunch of enthusiasts!

Another highlight of the day was that Dennis Gage of the North 
American TV show <http://www.myclassiccar.com/>"My Classic Car" was 
filming during the day for a show to be aired in early 2008 and 
Dennis zeroed in on my Alpine as one of the subjects for the show for 
an interview on these cars. So this will be my debut on TV and I will 
of course keep you informed when the time approaches for this show to 
be aired. (picture below)

At the awards banquet last night, the Morgan Pub Crawl group made a 
presented me with their award called ""Sports Car That Would Look 
Best Next to a Morgan in the Garage"!!! What an honor!
