Hello everyone,

I just received an email (with an attached article) from a good 
friend in Gander, Newfoundland, Andrew Proudfoot, who has 
participated in the

Newfoundland Rally (an International World class rally) for the past 
few years and has met some very interesting car people along the way, 
one of them being Steve McKelvie from the Boston area. Occasionally, 
Steve writes an automotive article and in his latest, he has an 
article on a Sunbeam Alpine that appeared at the British Car Days at 
the <http://www.mot.org/index_flash.html>Larz Anderson Automotive 
<http://www.mot.org/index_flash.html>Museum in Brookline, MA recently.

Now my guess is that a member of our email list Frank Jenkins has 
tried to keep it a secret that he entered his car in this show but 
the word is now out! I have extracted the article from the PDF file 
and as it is too big a file to include in this email, I have placed 
it on the Sunbeam Talbot  web site using the following link:

Steve Cota who is on this email list restored this car to this 
beautiful concours condition. Steve posted pictures taken during this 
restoration appear on our S-T Gallery.
