Yes I know it seems early but with 5 months of the year gone it's time to at least start thinking about next years calendar (assuming we want one).  At this stage, mostly think about taking pics, lots of them with plenty of pixels.  It would be particularly good to have some from the many events we all attend around the world.  For the Hillmaniacs, there will be lots of opprotunities in the various centennary meetings that are happening this year. 

I recognise some of the faults with last years effort (it was my first) and so this years will be better.  For a start, I will do better captions (like ones you can actually see).  I am also amenable to other suggestions - some have suggested that the layout of the calendar (dates) part looks a bit fussy - I'm comfortable with changing that (the publisher as less fussy layouts).  

As was the case last year, I do not intend to make any personal gain from doing this - unless you would want to chip an extra dollar for a worthwhile charity (my favourite is World Vision).

But mostly for now, get those cameras snapping - I'll have mine going this coming weekend in Canberra.
