[Staowners] "Light" swtich on heater box + Britfest...????

Hi,

No disrespect to anyone but on both my Mk3 Saloons the white lamp in  
the rubber shroud is mounted centrally directly behind the ign.  
switch and illuminates the heater controls etc.,which is logical as  
it is switched from the heater casing.

I would suspect, though I don't know, that cars supplied minus heater  
didn't have the light, (UK only?)
