Ray, hi from Down under,if no one your side can't help you with parts I possible can. I am wrecking a couple of Talbots Sedans, have most dash parts etc,if you get on to the spare parts supplier on this Sunbeam site, you will see Aussie bobs rubbers,he is a good friend of mine, and he has produced alot of the rubbers we need for these cars, the quality is excellent, alot of members to this site has recieved Bobs rubbers, you can certainly post a question about these rubbers on the site, or ask Bob Hamiliton, regards Mal Clark.

  Hello all,

Well, my '54 Alpine (Mark 1) arrived from New Jersey and it is all
tucked in to its snow safe storage bin!!!!!!!!! All by its cold self....

Warmed up a bit a couple days ago, so I at least got to go down there
and do a quick inventory of missing bits and pieces...........

So, if anyone can point me in the right direction for these parts
  I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. the emblem that goes on top of the grill
  2. the side chrome strips that go down the fender tops
          (right side hood and door)
  3. the small "Alpine" logs that go on the front fender near windscreen
  4. trunk handle and all associated bits/pieces/lock/etc
  5. all the rubber!!! (the rubber under the windscreen is so
dry rotted there is about a 1/2" gap!!!!!!!!!
  6. any possibility of finding a tachometer and its mount....
  7. hubcaps
  8. just about any and all dash knobs - including ignition/light
switch, and all the knobs in that general area of the dash.....
  9. fuel filler cap rubber gromet/seal

I'm sure there will probably be a "rookie needs parts, part 2"
email as soon as I get a chance to really go over the car!!!!!!!!!!

  tks, ray
