I am aware that there has been a problem with contacting the Bamforths for spares. I have spoken to David Bamforth today who informs me they have a serious virus problem on their PC that has rendered it u/s. All attempts to clear it have failed insofar as it re-installs itself. This would explain why you have not received any responses and also why their new website www.sunbeamtalbotspares.co.uk has been delayed in it's implementation. I believe this situation has been ongoing for some time now.
David has asked that you call their number +44 (0)1226 725076 and if there is no reply to leave a message. He promises to reply to all such calls.
The long promised rear lenses are very nearly available. I have been sent a sample that is excellent. However, there is a small problem to overcome with the colouring of the lettering and the background. I will endeavour to keep you all informed as I know this is currently a much sought after part.
If any of you still have a contact problem with STS after this, please let me know john_badger at btinternet.com and I will do my best to resolve.
