[Staowners] Alpine wing vents

I hope an expert chimes in but I always thought that the small vents 
where the Alpine badge is attached distinguishes the Special from an 
'ordinary' Alpine.

Also, I thought the central rev counter is the same for both the Mk 1 
and the Mk 3 and was to overcome the lack of one in the S-T 90 
instrument pod which was used in the Alpine.

One distinguishing feature for me is the blade type overrider of the Mk 
1 vs. the bulb type overrider of the Mk 3, also, I think the floor shift 
was standard for the Mk 3 whereas the Mk 1 had the column shift unless a 
floor shift was fitted as an extra or after market item.
