[Staowners] ENGINE BEARINGS

Hi everyone,wanted to know if there were any interest in engine bearings for our cars Talbots/Alpines,  it appears that big ends and main bearings are not that easy to obtain,or preferred sizes are not availible when you require them, a very experienced  Talbot owner/engineer is suggesting if there was enough interest in these, he can produce these bearings, it will take a bit of setting up, but he is willing to do that, I will try to obtain a cost of the bearings,but at this stage some expression of interest is required to access the possiblity of him going ahead, again depending on cost perhaps the long term owners of our fine cars, should have sets in stock, for the day they require an engine rebuild,usually around the 80,000 mile mark, back to you, regards Mal Clark
